KRM - Kingston Rural Management was started in 1970 by Dr. John Kingston, a widely experienced and qualified veterinarian, to manage his own businesses, and to provide agribusiness management services to absentee owners.
In the 1970's, KRM managed up to 15 significant agribusinesses simultaneously, employing up to 100 people. Additionally it managed Kingstons' Pharmacies, a large pharmacy aggregation. Steadily, demands for John Kingston to act as an agribusiness consultant within tropical and subtropical Australia, and overseas, increased. Thus KRM assumed the management responsibility for John Kingston's consulting career.
